Dam the video I got of the 1 way road is pretty d0pe. Thx Mr. X!

Actually Alex should be the one thanking you. He gets a nice 2 mins of his car in the twisties and his brakes smoking!

And at the end we get to see that dood a few minutes after he crashes. Im working on getting it offf tape. does anyone know if adobe prermier pro 1.5 can capture from a sony camcorder?

One thing that did suck is that none of the stills I took went onto the film or card. Im not sure what happened, this is the first time I used the camcorder.
Oh well I might have save a few people embarASSment with some of the shots I got.

Well, I'll give you my tape, but the footage didn't turn out as well as I hoped. The Rear camera shot was a lot better shot IMO, but having the camera faced backwards ruined the quality audio. All's you can hear is wind.
I think next time, when I wire a mic in the engine bay or something the footage will be much better becuase it will have decent audio.

It should be able too. Premier 6 will do it, so I dont see why pro wouldn't, as long as your going firewire in.

Everything was really cool, but it kinda sucked when Joel and I got split up with everyone else. We were with a small group and ran some INSANE twisties though!!! The brakes in a silver Jetta failed to work so he threw it in first and pulled over on the canyon. He tore off his bumper and bent his intercooler. I saw him and a red mini pulled to the side, so I stopped and asked if everything was alright, then I saw smoke. Check this out: haha...

Yeah that was defienately cool. So many nice cars just within feet of each other. I got some nice footage. It sucked me and Alex got seperated from everyone else but we did find a nice trail! Dominique (sp?) managed to get about half of it and some more vid of your brakes smoking.

Im working on getting it off the tape and getting some of it up here. Should be up in a few hours I guess it will depend how long it takes me to learn how to use this thing.

Yeah it was a fun day. If you need any help importing the video into Premier I'm sure any one of us can help out. It would be nice if you could upload the footage so everyone here could get a chance to edit it. There seems to be alot of interest in doing that.

Edit: Damn posted this way too late, haha.

So a couple of us were talking about what the value was on that lot and what certain cars cost.Heres something I just read at m3fourm that I didnt konw. That old school track Ferrai is worth 2 million!!!!! I guess that beats the SLR and Carrerra GT combined.

Ok so this is the video of the 1way me and Alex got to go down. At the end you get to see the dood that went off road when his brakes faded and you get to see some "smoking" brakes!

Its about a 50 meg download. So unless you got time and space dont bother. Ill post up some shorters ones soon.
